After the excitement of Wednesday nights NI Cup Semi final victory,a defeat was always a likely outcome especially as we faced top side Bertie Peacocks from Coleraine. In a real tough game at Lenadoon and still not out of the league title chase yet but they have had a few poor results recently by their standards and we knew they were gonna be up for the game and this proved spot on.

With the lads well off the pace and looking very tired Berties took a deserved a half-time lead of 2 -0

We simply asked for a better effort and to play with pride and so our lads althought they huffed and puffed did a lot better in the second half and we pulled a goal back from Big Joe.

However this was not enough and bBerties deserved their victory. Their reaction at the final whistle just showed how much the victory meant and we can take this as a massive compliment!

Not too much to get excited about and a poor performance on a horrific playing surface means we need to get back to winning ways asap.
